It’s nearly April

Spring is around the corner

Or is it here already –

Now and not yet

in Nature’s domain.

See, I’m doing a new thing; don’t you perceive it?

From prophetic Jesse’s branch

The dry bones grown flesh

Ezekiel’s desert army

starts its March.

New life

Like a bunny.

Life from the soil

Daffodils from bulbs

Dormant hopes we buried

Burst out in trumpets of gold.

Nature reawakens in anticipation

Leave your hibernation, learn to live again!

Easter is coming – Chinese: Fuhuojie

The literal Back to Life Festival

Where body and blood

crucified, died

rise again.

And Death itself starts working backwards…

“This is no thaw,” said the dwarf, suddenly stopping. “This is Spring. What are we to do? Your winter has been destroyed, I tell you! This is Aslan’s doing.”

– CS Lewis, The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe
